Job Description

The CLO Operations team is looking for a Program Manager to serve as the point person on hundreds of different agreements we execute with external vendors who support the CLO team; these vendors span across physical security, engineering, compliance, software companies, etc. The person will be responsible for project managing the process from vendor selection, contract negotiation, and execution, all the way to ensuring payments are made. They will interact and form relationships with various leaders across the CLO.

What You'll Do

  • Obtain quotes from multiple vendors and review and negotiate commercial terms for a variety of contracts, including and statements of work and software order forms within established guidelines.
  • Identify contract verbiage that differs from company standard requirements and policies. Serve as the primary point of contract with our commercial transactions team to resolve negotiation involving Uber's master terms.
  • Create and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers and serve as the point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
  • Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress. Manage electronic record-keeping for all contract-related milestones, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Support information requests from program managers, engineers, and attorneys, including responses to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
  • Participate in internal stakeholder and vendor calls to explain our contractual framework and negotiate beneficial terms in support of our business.
  • Coordinate spend request and contract workflow and manage pre-execution and post-execution phases, including renewals, terminations, and vendor contract performance management.
  • Design, develop and implement electronic knowledge management process and tool for all CLO Ops activities related to spend approval, vendor negotiations, contract lifecycle management, vendor onboarding, and PO approvals.
  • Support monthly and annual financial planning cycles.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimim 3+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating the commercial and legal terms of a range of global commercial contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions related to outside counsel.
  • Paralegal certificate, experience working in a corporate legal department or procurement setting.
  • Experience with DocuSign CLM and eSignature, Salesforce/Advologix, Google Drive.
  • Superior organizational skills, extraordinary attention to detail, and a mindset that processes can always be improved.
  • Must be confident, highly collaborative, and able to operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment independently.
  • Initiative, integrity, resilience, & ability to manage multiple high-velocity projects at once.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, with strong ability to communicate concisely with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management and key external stakeholders, and proven ability to partner with, engage, influence and align stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
