Job Description

Wonderschool is a two-sided childcare marketplace whose mission is to ensure every child has access to child care that helps them realize their potential. We are doing this by building a suite of tools to support passionate early care and education professionals to start and run quality and sustainable child care programs, as well as building tools that make it easy for families to easily find programs that are the perfect fit for the needs of their children. Our tools allow providers to easily manage their students, parents, and school all from one dashboard. Our community allows providers to seek advice, support, and a sense of belonging with a group of like-minded peers.

Wonderschool is looking for a Senior Recruiter that will help us drive all of our hiring efforts as we continue to experience hypergrowth. This role will be responsible for working with hiring managers to ensure all positions are filled in a timely manner, provide candidates with an outstanding experience and create strong relationships with vendors and retained search firms to find the best collaborators for the company. Our Lead Recruiter will be shaping the way we hire, being a partner and SME to our leadership team in all things related to recruiting.

We believe in giving our employees maximum flexibility, which is why you can work from anywhere, as long as you have a good internet connection and overlap with US Pacific Time working hours.


  • Own full recruitment function  across company from sourcing, to managing job postings, ATS workflow, and closing candidates 
  • Partner with CEO, hiring managers, and interviewers to grow Wonderschool into a world class talent brand 
  • Build processes and implement best practices that promote a positive candidate experience and keep the talent bar high
  • Coach to hiring managers and interviews on designing the best interview plans and scorecards 
  • Own recruiting resource planning (people and tools)

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of in-house recruiting experience 
  • 2+ years as a full-cycle recruiter [owning the entire recruiting funnel from sourcing, screening, to offer]
  • Experience hiring both tech and G&A roles 
  • Clear examples of using recruiting funnel metrics to influence leadership 
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with hiring managers and interviewers 
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention-to-detail and follow-through
  • Proficient using ATS software [Bonus: Greenhouse]
