Job Description

We are looking for a confident, go-getting SDR to join our London team. Working closely with the Sales and Marketing team, you’ll be tasked with identifying and uncovering new qualified opportunities, navigating accounts, identifying key decision makers, educating them on Wandera’s value proposition, understanding where opportunities exist and converting them. This role will report into the Director of Sales Development and work alongside a growing team of global SDRs.

Responsibilities

  • Team up with Sales and Marketing on a strategic sales approach to identify and qualify prospects from across the UK.
  • Achieving key metrics for success (Appointments, Opportunities, etc)
  • Proactively seek out new leads through creative outbound prospecting, cold calling into prospects from a variety of sources
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Leverage sales tools such as LinkedIn, Zoominfo and Outreach.io to intelligently identify and engage with prospects
  • Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts
  • Identify key players; researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin the sales cycle
  • Educating and developing prospects, leading to hand-off with a field Sales rep
  • Following up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities; providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
  • Set up appointments for the Sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
  • Drive attendance for webinars and set up meetings at conferences
  • Accurate maintenance of activity and lead qualification information in Salesforce

We’re looking for

  • An ambitious self-starter with the confidence to cold call into new accounts
  • A year’s experience in telemarketing, preferably in the tech industry
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with active listening skills
  • A positive and energetic phone presence
  • Demonstrated success of prospecting with key metric attainment
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Experience with a CRM (Salesforce preferably)

Things we like

  • Qualifications are great, but not always essential. That being said, a Bachelor’s degree will stand you out from the crowd.
