About the role

We’re growing fast and looking for a highly-talented and driven growth marketer to lead the strategy and execution of programs that help new users successfully adopt and derive fast value from Dremio’s market-leading platform using self-serve journeys. You will own building the program and the demand gen journey for new users to ensure they become happy customers. You will partner tightly with the Product Management team to experiment with all marketing channels available with a significant emphasis on automating a frictionless, self-serve journey on our website. 

This is a highly creative and analytical role that works closely with cross functional teams to build customer campaigns and experiments that optimize the self-service user journey and drive results for the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong empathy for our customers and have a passion for continually measuring and removing friction in the customer adoption journey.  You are the go-to person within your function for all things ‘self-serve’ and enjoy creating impact, moving fast and optimizing and learning every step of the day. You know how to work cross functionally, evaluate tradeoffs and influence others to come with solutions to challenges. You are passionate about executing experiments in highly cross-functional environments and have a strong ownership of success goals. 

What you’ll be doing  

  • Develop cohesive campaign journeys for new users across all marketing channels to achieve growth goals
  • Build coordinated campaigns across Demand Generation, Product and Product Marketing teams to maximize results
  • Collaborate closely with the team on website and other digital channel content, design and brand to transform your ideas into compelling and personalized messages to engage users and turn them into happy customers.
  • Regularly evaluate data to improve marketing performance, design and execute A/B tests, and socialize these analytics and insights with the broader team to separate user signals from noise

  • Effectively communicate the strategy, goals, performance, and ROI of demand generation activities with the executive team and cross-functional leaders
  • Passion for continuous improvement of the customer experience and acceleration of a frictionless buying experience
  • Highly analytical and strong experimentation mindset with results orientation - build, test, iterate and optimize the experiments to improve the customer journey 
  • Great collaborator who proactively shares actionable insights and learnings from experiments with broader team 
  • Excellent communication skills to influence without authority internal leaders, customers and external stakeholders.
  • No ego - your desire to learn and collaborate is your strongest motivation 
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

What we value 

  • 15+ years of experience as a growth marketer, demand gen, or performance marketer at a fast growing cloud company
  • Proven ability to partner with product to build a strong self-serve and product-led growth motion 
  • Experience building, analyzing and actioning self-serve funnel experiments iteratively with proven results i.e. higher conversions, increased volume and shortened velocity
  • Ability to build personalized, automated customer journeys leveraging the ‘modern’ techstack including predictive intelligence and intent modeling tools as well as foundational techstack tools like Marketo, SFDC 
  • Experience writing/editing copy independently for emails, webinars, events 
  • Cutting edge technology understanding and exposure to companies in SaaS 
  • Ability to partner with product and content marketing teams to build creative campaigns at scale for both technical and business buyers, ideally related to data management and/or analytics
