About the Job:

At LiveIntent we are looking for a Privacy Program Manager to join our Legal Operations team and help design and build continuous operational compliance practices throughout the company while representing our users and their privacy. This individual will assist with all aspects of our Privacy Program with a focus on governance, risk and compliance. As a Privacy Program Manager you will collaborate with key stakeholders and external parties to develop and establish governance for the privacy program and policies while supporting compliance, risk management and business development activities. As the subject matter expert, you will play a key role in our compliance and privacy initiatives which includes but not limited to developing and conducting risk assessments, documentation of processes, workflows and recommendations. 



  • Project and Operations Management
  • Manage and own major privacy-focused initiatives from beginning to end with minimal supervision
  • Assess and track compliance with regulatory and legal requirements that are relevant to the business such as, CCPA, GDPR, and other state, federal, and international privacy laws, and contractual commitments
  • Stay up to date on trends in emerging state, federal, and international privacy legislation, translating that legislation into company-specific requirements
  • Determine requirements of and present privacy dashboards and reports to a wide audience demonstrating our current privacy program state and adherence to relevant frameworks and standards
  • Internal and External Privacy Expert 
  • Represent LiveIntent’s privacy position with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Contribute to enterprise privacy risk assessments, product and business unit-level privacy impact assessments, privacy by design processes, and privacy incident response
  • Become a trusted partner working cross-functionally to build a deep understanding of how teams work, their needs and how privacy compliance can be operationalized into their teams
  • Create, drive, deliver and oversee privacy training and awareness to the organization
  • Manage LiveIntent opt-out systems and procedures including handling all privacy related requests and issues from clients and end users 
  • Respond to internal requests related to privacy and data security regarding LiveIntent’s products and services
  • Maintain data processing records and activities from a privacy perspective
  • Work closely with the Security team towards overall security and privacy program rollout, and providing risk-based operational metrics and management support



  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance or privacy risk management background developing and managing a privacy compliance program and promoting a risk-aware, governance, and ownership mindset throughout an organization
  • Proven track record of delivering an organizational process creation or change
  • Experience with privacy assessments, as well as third-party management from a privacy perspective
  • Familiarity with U.S. privacy regulations, including state-specific regulations such as CCPA and CPRA
  • Familiarity with self-regulatory organizations such as the DAA, IAB, and NAI
  • Familiarity with international privacy frameworks and regulations such as GAPP, GDPR, etc.
  • Familiarity with GRC tools
  • Familiarity with privacy impact assessments
  • Experience with process definition, process improvement and metrics
  • CIPP/US & CIPP/E certifications preferred
