Our team is a group of startup veterans with experience across healthcare, hospitality, tech, and finance at companies such as Lyft, BCG, Airbnb, Blackstone, and Clover Health.


We are looking for a Director, CandidPro Operations to join the Candid™ team. In this critical role you will be responsible for maximizing the performance of our Professional business. You’ll have a hand on all parts of the business: you will both set strategic direction and go deep into driving execution of those plans. The ideal fit is someone who can set long-term vision but also roll up their sleeves and move the needle in the here and now in our startup environment.

This leader will report directly to the SVP of CandidPro and assume broad responsibility for organizing initiatives large and small in the Pro channel - no small task given that this team functions as a seed startup within a broader startup. The Director of Pro Operations will also extensively partner cross-functionally with our Sales, Brand Marketing, Legal, Operations, Finance, and Engineering teams - as well as our clinicians - to drive results.

What You’ll Do 

General Operations

  • Partner seamlessly with the SVP of CandidPro to bring organization and structure to every aspect of the Professional Business. Our team is fast-moving, learns and iterates weekly if not daily, and demands organization, cadenced meetings, and crisp communication
  • Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives large and small. You’ll develop work plans, gather and synthesize relevant data, lead analyses, develop and pitch recommendations, and coordinate cross-functional execution
  • Drive complex relationships to resolution through both internal and external communications and negotiations. Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to launch products and partnerships
  • Develop and track revenue projections, customer targets, sales team effectiveness and productivity, and other key metrics to ensure we optimize limited resources


Sales Support

  • Develop Sales Operations strategy including the planning, direction, and development of integrated plans for our sales representatives. Iterate upon the team’s activities, reporting requirements, and quota allocations to maximize effectiveness
  • Develop sales force structure and optimal territory alignments to increase operational efficiency and sales potential and monitor performance metrics against plan
  • Leverage the myriad learnings derived from the sales team’s activities and frontline work to inform step-function improvements in how CandidPro works that bolster the performance of both prospective and current partner doctors. You’ll brainstorm, prioritize, and execute changes across our sales processes, training and onboarding processes, continuing educational programs, and team- and doctor-facing software
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to define and build out appropriate pricing models and promotional campaigns


Business Systems, Data Management & Analytics

  • Create, manage, and enhance the reporting we generate in our internal tools and systems, including our Salesforce CRM implementation
  • Define value for various partner doctor profiles by developing, tracking, and evaluating KPIs and business case models to drive adoption and utilization
  • Lead strategic planning and forecasting meetings, including quarterly business review meetings
What You’ll Need
  • 6 years minimum experience in operations, sales operations, related areas
  • Track record of building structure in gray areas, where there previously was very little
  • Ability to serve as a strategic business partner and advisor to executive leaders
  • Proven experience developing, implementing SOPs - and holding teams accountable to following them
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and in deep collaboration with individuals at all levels in an organization, understand their needs/motivations, and manage the most complex cross-functional projects
