What is a day in the life of a Senior Revenue Analyst?

As a senior revenue analyst, you will be in charge of executing and refining Solutionreach’s revenue forecasting and reporting processes to guide our business decisions. Your responsibilities involve tracking company finances; gathering, recording, and analyzing data; producing financial reports; and leveraging market data into actionable insights and opportunities for pricing optimization. 


The day-to-day includes:

  • Execute the end-to-end planning, budgeting and forecasting for SaaS revenue 
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes on a monthly basis; communicating results to leadership
  • Prepare and analyze financial data and provide deep insights to highlight revenue trends and identify areas of investment and growth
  • Design and/or maintain and deliver financial reporting to provide accurate insight into revenue results, including the preparation of executive and/or Board level presentations. 

What will I need to thrive in this role?

  • 2- years of experience in accounting, preferably at a public accounting firm
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, as well as a working knowledge of Intacct and Salesforce
  • Strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and analytical aptitude
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player mentality, adaptability, reliability, and an awesome sense of humor
