Since raising a $45 million Series A investment, the Output team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Web Quality Assurance Analyst. The Web QA Analyst will take a key role in testing Output.com . They are passionate about quality and are the driving force that ensures that every phase and feature is tested and that any potential issues are identified and documented.

How you'll add value:

  • Creating test cases and executing test scripts, and being knowledgeable about product requirements and functionality.
  • Adapt user stories into test cases
  • Create and execute manual test cases 
  • Identify test cases better suited for automation and write automated tests
  • Work with programmers to obtain information required to create and administer QA test plans
  • Work with product managers to understand  product requirements 
  • Triage and prioritize bugs for releases
  • Verify that defects have been addressed
  • Perform end-to-end regression testing and ensure code is ready for deployment
  • Able to identify gaps and suggest improvements to both the systems under test and the overall testing process
  • Responsible for communicating risks and providing timely and meaningful feedback to stakeholders based on test plan execution.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and within an integrated team of software developers, project managers, and QA engineers
  • Continually validate testing tools and processes
  • Execute system, integration, regression, and release testing for all products and features

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • 2-3 years experience within Quality Assurance discipline specifically in a Web development environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related, or equivalent employment experience
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and tools
  • Experience with browser development testing tools such as Browser Stack
  • Experience with test case management platforms
  • Experience producing clear documentation of steps required for specific testing tasks
  • Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities.
  • Superior organizational, time management, collaboration and interpersonal skills
