Job Description

Position Summary

The Engagement Coordinator actively outreaches to potential program participants and connects them as Spiras Health patients. This integral team member calls individuals identified through the Spiras Analytics predictive model as candidates for the Spiras Health Solution. This role creates excitement and interest in participation and screens potential participants for further clinical evaluation.

The Engagement Coordinator’s goal is to create a positive perception of the Spiras Health solution, listen to the needs of the potential participant, and provide an overview of the Spiras Health solution. This role will be accountable to influence the potential participant to engage with Spiras by scheduling an in-home assessment when it is a good fit. We value our Engagement Coordinators for their crucial initial step, making potential participants aware of the opportunity and obtaining permission for a member of our clinical team to meet with them in their home.

The ideal candidate for this position will find joy in assisting and communicating with others about their health care. The candidate will take pride in creating a meaningful and personalized connection with each potential participant. A typical day for an Engagement Coordinator revolves around making outreach phone calls to potential participants. The role will support mapping to pinpoint appropriate participants and assist with additional contact methods.The Engagement Coordinator position will be in-person at our Brentwood, TN office.

The Engagement Coordinator is successful when they schedule the projected number of initial home visit appointments for their assigned territory. The individual will need to be focused on making outbound call attempts and enjoy educating and influencing potential participants.

This non-clinical role supports a clinical team who helps patients and their family understand their diagnosis and treatment plans, manage their symptoms, and coordinate services with local healthcare providers. The team becomes an extension of the patient’s physician relationships and offers 24/7 access to care.

Duties and Responsibilities

To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential functions satisfactorily:

  • Place outbound calls to potential participants
  • Schedule target number of new participants in territory
  • Assist in mapping participants and geographic territories
  • Support various outreach methods (mailing letters, social media, etc.)
  • Answer incoming phone calls from potential participants
  • Contribute to other projects as assigned by leader 

 Qualifications

  • At least 2+ years of comparable work experience with successful outcomes
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous experience and success in exceeding individual and team goals
  • Experience working in a primarily phone call-based role preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
