The Endpoints Monitoring Specialist (EMS) will be part of a R&D Team in charge of designing, building and deploying a set of solutions aimed at providing visibility and response capabilities on a set of management endpoints (e.g., servers, hosts) in a customer environment, hence contributing to expand the footprint of Devo in existing and new customers. While most technical, the EMS role also possesses the customer-facing skills necessary to handle internal and external relationships effectively. Besides, EMSs are an integral part of the definition of the product(s) roadmap, as well as in its evangelization across customers and partners.

Responsibilities

    • Own the technical aspects of Devo's set of endpoints monitoring products and solutions.
    • Implement, test, validate and benchmark homegrown as well as industry-relevant products and solutions.
    • Drive direct customer relationships to design, implement and evolve visibility products installations.
    • Become the technical go-to person for internal and customer/partner-facing activities.
    • Contribute to the quality, relevance and up-to-date status of the endpoints monitoring portfolio.
    • Comply with internal product standards, company directives and legal requirements.

Requirements

    • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Professional experience as a Security Engineer, IT Engineer or Network Engineer.
    • Proficiency in Operating Systems administration: Windows, Linux. 
    • Proficiency in OS scripting: Powershell, Bash.
    • Experience with languages such as C++, Go, and Python.
    • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS).
    • Experience working in Agile-based environments (e.g. SCRUM).
    • Preferably have worked with endpoint monitoring solutions (e.g., osquery).
    • Autonomous, "get things done", mindset.
    • Curiosity to innovate every day, proactivity to set ideas into action.
    • Insightful, resourcefulness, cooperative.
    • Customer-facing skills.
