We are looking for a west coast Solutions Engineer to provide pre-sales support for our rapidly-growing sales team. You will be responsible for developing solutions for identified prospects, helping the marketing team with technical content and insights and being the technical resource for the sales organization as a whole.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Account Executives to drive complex, multi stakeholder deals
  • Provide technical expertise on Cloudinary’s product offering, lead discovery process and deliver proof of concepts  based on prospect needs
  • Be the trusted advisor and provide world class customer service while serving as the technical spokesperson for Cloudinary 
  • Work with the Account Management team to ensure handoff is executed smoothly as prospect transitions into a customer
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales to identify compelling use cases, influence product roadmap, technical content and technical best practices

About You:

  • 4+ years experience in customer-facing technical role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Science or Engineering degree preferred
  • Principle knowledge of website construction, including HTML, JavaScript and CSS, website troubleshooting and use of browser developer tools
  • Experience with Website Performance Optimization strategies
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure - DNS, CDN, Cloud Storage, Cloud Applications
  • Manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management solutions - an advantage
  • Up to 20% travel (once safe to do so)
  • must be located in the West Coast
