Job Description

The Role: 
THE WELL is seeking a Development Coordinator with a passion for wellness to join our team and support the VP of Development. The ideal candidate would have 1-3 years of administrative experience in the hospitality or wellness industry.
 
This role would works closely with functional leaders across all departments — from Finance and Product Development and Operations. This position provides dedicated administrative support for THE WELL managed spas, pre-openings, retail accounts, and development pipeline.

The Opportunity
  • Manage the implementation and optimization of the development critical path.
  • Administrative support to THE WELL VP of Development including calendar management, e-mail coordination, contact up-dates, digital file management, agenda and preparation for meetings. 
  • Liaise with third party vendors such as accountants, lawyers, architects and interior designers.
  • Support with month-end reporting and development billing.
  • Manage expense report production in tandem with finance and billing team.
  • Assist with outlines for decks and coordination in between the different creatives involved with the development process.
  • Manage, maintain and promote the development recruitment pipeline via Trinet HR.
  • Manage VP of Development's to do list across a variety of development channels.
  • Manage and execute sample requests for potential new accounts or new product development.
  • Assist with a variety of pre-opening tasks to include, but not limited to: sample requests, contacting vendors, coordinating with other wellness consultants, and planning for pre-opening trips.
  • Manage development CRM together with the VP of Development.
