Job Description

IonDX™ is an innovative life sciences start-up company that has engineered IMGenius™ system, a state of the art bench-top ion mobility spectrometer and is in the product commercialization phase. This instrument will be used to determine molecular conformation of biotherapeutics, such as monoclonal antibodies and nucleic acid modalities, as part of accelerating drug development. We are currently receiving samples from global biotech companies who require reproducible and relevant data to adopt our technology. We have recently initated an Early Access Program as a way to engage top biopharma organizations prior to official launch in the fall of this year. This will be a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the commercialization of the first product.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of Executive Director of Business and Corporate Development, the specialist will use instrument sales knowledge to support product commercialization. The specialist will generate qualified leads, nurture sales opportunities, support marketing activities and provide outstanding customer support. This is a part-time position (to begin with) that will operate remotely.
 
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Recruit for the IMGenius™ Early Access Program
  • Build qualified sales funnel prior to IMGenius™ launch
  • Qualify new leads through technical understanding of application fit
  • Communicate with customers through outbound/inbound communication and follow up on leads
  • Perform external communications in support of various marketing activities, e.g, webinar, conference, trade shows
  • Collaborate with Senior Commercialization Specialist to document, track, prioritize and report customer engagement through Salesforce CRM system
  • Collaborate with the team to expand IonDX’s digital outreach through website and LinkedIn engagements
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Lifesciences or equivalent preferred
  • Prior scientific instrumentation sales experience
  • CRM utilization, specifically Salesforce
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service
  • Flexibility to take on multiple projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic team-based environment
