  • Foster customer relationships through ongoing communication with contacts to ensure repeat business and referrals
  • Develop new accounts, expand existing accounts (adding locations), and handle all downgrades
  • Manage all assigned leads with the utmost sense of urgency and in accordance with the company’s lead response time standards
  • Work collaboratively with marketing team to send mass communications
  • Work closely with product team to provide actionable feedback
  • Proactively engage in outbound sales activities and strategies 
  • Be open and eager to learn and adapt to changes
  • Meet or exceed personal goals that will be set by the Business Operations team

Must Have

  • 2+ years of experience growing a book of business 
  • 2+ years of experience selling software as a service 
  • Proven track record of pipeline development and management 
  • Proven success in the SMB space with a focus on those with hourly workers including but not limited to Hospitality, Healthcare and Logistics
  • The ability to walk us through your process. Go from discovery to close and show us how you navigate ensuring the customer makes an informed decision.
  • Strong outbound dialing ability. Email is great, however dialing the phone still works best

The Job

At Homebase, we value all of the businesses that sign up for our services. As our Key Account Manager you will work one on one with some of our most valuable accounts. You will be their dedicated representative for training, billing, and ensuring that we are deeply ingrained into their day to day. You will be responsible for providing the purple standard to interested leads, existing accounts, and self sourcing leads when needed. Your partnership with the Marketing, Business Analytics and Product team is critical. These business partners not only support us in ensuring success for our customers, but also rely heavily on you to provide actionable insights.

Your overall objective is to grow both our existing base of franchises and multi location users, but also bring on brand new users. Goals will be set in the beginning based on historical data. As we progress through, we will make adjustments to how we view success including locations added, plan value (MRR) and expansion of existing account spend.
