Job Description

We are looking for a senior server infrastructure engineer to handle all IT infrastructure related tasks in our corporate offices. He should be a team worker and fast learner. This position supports all the functional teams, providing them with all the internal IT tools and systems to meet the company business objectives.

Critical Business Activities

  • Manage corporate Windows server infrastructure
  • Manage workstations, virtual/physical servers, backup, storage and 3rd party services.
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues
  • Manage the patch management process for servers and endpoints
  • Manage IT asset inventory and monitoring the performance
  • IT Ticket management in alignment with ITIL process which includes assignment, prioritization, resolution and closure. Define SLAs for tasks handled.
  • Implement and assist in monitoring security metrics for corporate infrastructure
  • Define a detailed project plan for assigned projects
  • Document Standard Operating Procedures, policies, SLAs, end-user training, technical and end-user knowledgebase.
  • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
  • Perform and testing routine server backups and restores. Develop and maintain documentation about current environment setup, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure the security of the server infrastructure by implementing industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Deploy and manage centralized & DAS storages
  • Work with geographically distributed teams

Competencies and Experience

Technical Skills and Experience

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in IT support
  • Knowledge on Windows server and workstation Operating Systems.
  • Good experience on Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
  • Having good knowledge in site-to-site Active Directory replication.
  • Having working experience and strong knowledge of Azure AD and O365 applications
  • Having knowledge on PowerShell scripting
  • Working experience of Office365 Security and Compliance Centre
  • Manage O365 Sharepoint access and permissions as per business requirements
  • Endpoints management through Intune or other Mobile Device Management solution
  • Knowledge of MS PKI and client certificate-based authentication will be an added value
  • Having experience on RAID, EMC/NetApp/DAS storages, Syslog, and patch updates.
  • Implement the necessary monitoring system and create visibility on corporate & cloud environment.
  • Backup and restore AD objects on domain controllers.
  • Having experience in Commvault backup solution.
  • Having experience in EMC and NetApp storage.
  • Having knowledge of Anti-Virus solution.
  • Having basic knowledge of networking and firewall.
  • Having experience in PCI & ISMS audit processes.
  • Experience in troubleshooting network related issues.
  • Should be MCSA/MCSE Certified.
  • Ready to support for UK and US schedule whenever it required.
  • Ready to extend the support after office hours.
  • Good verbal and written communication skill.
