Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to join our Revenue Strategy and Operations team. This is a unique opportunity to build something from an early stage. In this role, you will be focused on using technology to create impactful, relevant, and personalized experiences across all sides of our marketplace at scale. You will be joining at a pivotal time, to help us drive retention and growth among our user base through developing high-impact communication channels as part of an integrated user engagement strategy. We want to deliver a world class user experience, and you will be a big driver behind this.
 
Marketing Operations is part of the larger Revenue Strategy and Operations team. We are a cross-functional team of program managers, system experts, and data analysts partnering with every team in some form across Wonolo. We pride ourselves on impacting key business performance indicators, effective collaboration, and the development of innovative solutions. We are remote first and welcome qualified candidates located anywhere in the United States and Canada.

What you'll do:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-impact communication channels for lifecycle, transactional, triggered, and promotional campaigns
    • Drive strategic architecture decisions for implementing new programs within our automation and engagement platforms 
    • Partner with our marketplace supply team to help inform strategic initiatives that reduce churn and increase conversion rates in our onboarding funnel for Wonoloers (workers)
    • Build scalable referral and loyalty programs to help drive growth, retention, and advocacy
    • Execute strategic A/B and multivariate tests to uncover campaign levers we can use to more effectively incentivize and impact the behavior of Wonoloers (workers)
    • Use data integrations and insights to benchmark performance, drive continuous improvements, and ultimately increase the lifetime value of our users and customers

Who you are:

      • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a marketing operations or automation role
      • Strong knowledge of marketing automation and engagement tools
      • Confident marketing leader: you know how to execute strategies that incorporate segmentation / personalization, automation, messaging, conversion optimization, and other facets of marketing using web, email, mobile, social, SEM, and SEO
      • Big picture executor: you  understand marketing tools from an in-depth technical standpoint, as well as from a very high-level strategic perspective
      • Customer obsessed: you know how to scale cross-channel communications and lifecycle engagement programs to deliver great experiences
      • Problem solver: you can take a complex issue and break it down into consumable components, drive cross functional alignment by involving the right partners at the right time, and come up with inventive solutions
      • You demonstrate a commitment towards advancing representation and inclusion in and outside the workplace

Preferred:

    • Experience with Marketo and Iterable
    • CRM and data visualization experience (we use Salesforce and Looker)
    • Experience working with product, engineering, or other technical teams
