About the Role & Team:

As the Vice President of Inside Sales, you will be responsible for growing the team of Inside Sales Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to increase our scope of business, focused primarily on the Mid-Market customer segment (200 to 1000 employees). You will strategically map out a vision for inside sales that aligns with your cross-functional partners and overall company objectives. 

We are looking for someone who will contribute to our diverse team culture and bring a passion for mentoring and developing talent. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, recruit, and develop a diverse and effective inside sales team focused on the SMB and Mid-Market customer segments
  • Analyze market trends, partner with demand gen team and plan sales strategies accordingly
  • Create clear team and individual objectives to reach sales and company goals
  • Consistently monitor sales activity and own forecasting and pipeline quality metrics to track results
  • Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings
  • Develop required Customer relationships and facilitate executive engagement to support success
  • Align global team (based in US and Europe) into consistent processes and structure 
  • Coach SDRs and AEs on best practices and product/company vision, providing ongoing feedback and development 
  • Present updates and progress company-wide in effective manner that engages employees into overall mission 

 About You:

  • Minimum 7+ years of sales experience, ideally in similar industry or the mid-market segment
  • Ability to recruit, hire and enable world class inside sales representatives
  • Proven successful experience in leading Account Executives
  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills
  • Superior negotiation and analytical skills
  • Strong drive for results
  • A self-starter that can thrive in a fast paced environment/growth stage company
  • Experience selling complex solutions and someone who can serve as a trust advisor is preferred
