Job Description

Here at SeatGeek, we know that People are our greatest asset. That starts with hiring the best and brightest to join us on our mission to help the world experience more live.

Reporting to the Manager, Business Recruiting, you’ll help our recruiting team continue to scale across both our Consumer and Enterprise businesses. You’ll partner with hiring leads across Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Client Experience, and more to find and hire the best candidates all while consistently raising our talent bar.

What you'll do

  • As a full-cycle recruiter, you’ll own the hiring process from kick off meeting to sourcing, through to hire. You’ll be a strategic partner for hiring managers and advise on what you know best - the candidate market.
  • Oversee anywhere from 8 to 18 requisitions at a time. We’re a fast-paced company and need a nimble recruiter who can provide great service even when working on multiple high priority roles at onces.
  • Drive and develop new strategies to find the highest quality candidates for the role. You’ll take a creative approach in sourcing candidates and selling them on SeatGeek.
  • Report on your roles to the Recruiting Team at large as well as individual hiring leads. You’ll surface insights from metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify relevant recruiting projects like interview training, employer branding, or candidate experience. You’ll see projects through from ideation to execution and measure success along the way.
  • Become a high-level subject matter expert for your roles. You won’t be expected to help the marketing team get 1,000 app installs from a Facebook ad, but you aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty to really understand a team and role.
  • Evangelize SeatGeek externally through employer branding efforts and networking.

Who you are

  • You have at least 1 years of business recruiting experience in a high-growth environment. Experience at a NYC startup is preferred.
  • You are an excellent networker. You already have an established network of qualified candidates and external resources. You also have the skills to build a network quickly and comprehensively.
  • You have an uncanny ability to build trust and influence those around you.
  • You are results driven with a high sense of urgency. You constantly push yourself and your peers, for greater results and re-prioritize on the fly.
  • You are an innovative thinker. You enjoy coming up with creative solutions and are able to think outside of the box to fill highly competitive roles.
  • You are metrics minded. You care about data integrity and use the tools available to you to improve your understanding of reporting and metrics.
  • Your written communication is superb. You can easily turn a jumbled list of ideas into an enticing job description. You’re a stickler for grammar, too.

Perks

  • Equity stake in a well-funded growth stage company
  • A superb benefits package that supports health/dental/vision. We also provide annual subscriptions to Headspace, Ginger.io, and One Medical
  • A focus on transparency. We have regular company meetings and Q&A panels where employees can chat openly with teams across SeatGeek, our co-founders, and external guests from the industry
  • Although this perk is currently on pause, we can’t help but talk about it. SeatGeek employees receive a monthly ticket-purchase stipend, and we cannot wait to get back to safely attending the live events that we so dearly miss
  • Covid-19 Response: We’re not expecting employees to return to the office until July 2021 at the earliest. Once it’s again safe to do so, we look forward to welcoming people back to our offices.

SeatGeek is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment regardless of race, color, religion, creed, age, national origin or ancestry, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, military or veteran status, or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.
