Furthermore, ShiftLeft goes beyond technical vulnerabilities (e.g., The OWASP Top Ten) to identify cloud-centric vulnerabilities that traditional static analysis tools can't find, such as business logic flaws, data leakage, hard-coded literals and insider threats.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Java/Scala full-stack engineer to join us in the ShiftLeft’s security team! You will help us in developing tools that automate our security research process and will have a direct impact on our customer success! The role involves knowledge of building production grade Java/Scala tools that run in CI/CD environments as well as on desktops. Knowledge of software security and secure coding practices is not mandatory, but is a plus point.This role is global and remote-friendly

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a system that drives our security analysis automation efforts
  • Develop UI tools for internal reporting
  • Take responsibility  for the automation system all the way from development to integration to production
  • Coordinate deployment and monitoring with our Ops/Security team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industry experience as a full-stack engineer working mainly in Java/Scala
  • Be familiar with current Java/Scala frameworks like the Spring Framework
  • Be familiar with (No)SQL databases
  • Be familiar with with front-end javascript frameworks
  • Experience in developing tooling for security testing is a plus
  • Being able to work remotely 
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Good understanding of the Agile and DevOps cultures
  • Experience with Docker is a plus
