We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopter (www.volocopter.com).

Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

You will be part of our IT department that is responsible for the overall IT Service Operation and plays a key role in ensuring smooth processes. Here we control and optimize the business processes and infrastructures that enable our multicultural and innovative team to decisively shape our vision of the future of mobility. You will ensure the successful operation of our Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence in line with our business needs. Is this exactly your thing?   • Administrate, operate, customize and further develop our Atlassian tools (Jira Software, Jira Align, Jira Service Management, Confluence and Linchpin)
  • Actively monitor and continuously improve the production environment to ensure optimal performance, reliability and scalability
  • Responsible for maintenance as well as smooth operation and integration of further applications (such as MS Teams, Miro, etc.)
  • Ensure that version upgrades get implemented successfully (patch management, software updates and software distribution)
  • Consulting for internal users on the introduction and implementation of processes in Atlassian tools
  • Identify training needs and organize training in cooperation with our central Learning & Development department
  • 2nd & 3rd level support
  • Quality assurance and project management
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and user manuals

Qualifications

Required skills

  • Degree or training in IT specialist / system integration and/or several years of professional experience in comparable position.
  • Experience and comprehensive knowledge regarding the introduction and implementation of new information technology and  project management
  • Proven track record in using and especially in administrating, Atlassian tools
  • Latest technology inspires you and there are no problems but challenges for you
  • Reliability, ability to work in a team and high customer orientation paired with an independent way of working
  • Very good German and good English skills
  • Broad knowledge of software solutions from various vendors is of an advantage
