Nimble is growing and looking for an outstanding Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role will report directly to Nimble's CFO. The Senior Accountant is responsible for a wide variety of accounting duties, primarily ensuring accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of assets, liabilities, revenue, and expense. The The Senior Accountant will play a vital role during month-end closing and will have a variety of projects assigned.
 
This role is currently remote until July, 2021. We are looking for candidates local to the Phoenix area, or who are moving to the area in 2021 who can commute to Phoenix, AZ at least 2-3 days a week.

You will:

    • Develop and maintain accounting systems for the company by maintaining books of accounts and related materials, as well as handling day to day financial matters.
    • Oversee reconciliation of bank accounts on a monthly basis.
    • Prepare all financial reports and statements as required to comply with internal/external reporting requirements.
    • Review all accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger statements.
    • Perform year-end closing and balancing procedures in accordance with approved procedures.
    • Perform all daily and monthly duties related to cash balance, general ledger and month closing.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

You bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Analysis, or related
    • CPA is ideal
    • Hands-on experience with Intacct, or comparable accounting interface 
    • Prior experience in financial and managerial accounting
    • Advanced familiarity with Microsoft Excel
    • Highly experienced in financial forecasting and budgeting
