Operations are at the heart of our customers' experience here at THG. We manufacture a wide range of sports nutrition and cosmetic consumer goods that we then dispatch to our customers in over 200 countries worldwide from our Distribution Centers.

Due to rapid growth, THG is looking to recruit a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Operations Manager, with experience managing 3rd party distribution partners for our Asia operations.

Main Responsibilities

    Manage external third-party suppliers providing fulfilment services to THG and to THG's clients and ensuring they are operating in line with agreed processes and procedures and meeting SLAs
    To be the point of contact for 3PL providers for all operational and commercial queries. This includes managing implementations from an operational perspective and ensuring compliance with SLAs and other operational contractual obligations
    Manage Budgets and Monitor costs associated with your areas of 3PL operations
    Work closely with senior staff at other distribution centers and with freight forwarding team to ensure that stock is delivered to 3PL sites to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved for the company and for customers
    Provide accurate management information
    Be active in identifying problems and solutions to rectify issues
    Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives
    Overseeing internal teams providing THG's outsourced fulfilment service and ensuring staff in this area operate efficiently, safely and that quality standards are met so the clients and their customers receive an excellent experience.


Desired Skills and Experience:

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

    At least 3 years management experience within e-commerce fulfilment and distribution
    Experience working in or with automated/semi-automated distribution environments and a good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems
    Experience managing 3rd party fulfilment suppliers and a good understanding of SLAs and industry standards required to deliver an excellent customer experience
    Experience managing budgets for a fulfilment operation, proactively monitoring costs and identifying and delivering cost savings
    Experience driving positive changes to an e-commerce fulfilment operation
    Good communication skills
    This is a Monday to Friday role however we are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to work weekends / night shift where required.
    You will also need to be happy travelling for up to 2- 3 weeks each month within Asia to visit and monitor operations at remote sites.
