Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for all activities related to calling on ENT and audiologists, patients, and other referral sources related to hearing loss. On a day-to-day basis the RAM will be in the field making sales calls, managing relationships with ENT offices and audiologists, and educating customers on the value of the Earlens product with a goal to procure sales or create sales opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to:
    Meet/exceed sales quota set by the management team.
    Earlens product & procedural competency, including the ability to train and support ENT physicians and staff during impression and lens placement procedures.
    Contribute to and influence both the strategy and day-to-day management for sales activities.
    Develop and manage relationships with key customers including external and internal customers.
    Stay abreast of the market, proactively advise senior management of changes, and ensure communication throughout the organization.
    Maintain good working relationships with the hearing community – physicians/educators and industry leaders.
    Collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize sales opportunities.
    Develop and present at special events (i.e., support groups, health fairs, community education programs etc.) to enhance the education of customers.
    Understand and present detailed features of company and competitor products.
    Develop call plans for maximum reach and impact.
    Support the Company Quality Policy and Quality System.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
 Minimum of five (5) years of medical device related sales experience preferably hearing or other devices.
    Demonstrated top sales performer.
 Experience in the (early phase) start-up environment with successful sales of a product.
 Thorough understanding of the hearing markets.
 Knowledge of, prior interaction and relationships with, thought leaders and key practitioners in the hearing space.
 Demonstrated knowledge of and relationships with ENT offices preferred.
 Demonstrated hands-on, results-oriented approach to sales and leadership with a strong emphasis on team work.
 Excellent written and oral communication skills.
 Demonstrated ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events – flexibility is key.
 Strong analytical skills required.

 Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
 Experienced communicator/presenter of technical information with a quality focus to internal as well as external partners in a large group setting.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
 Bachelor’s Degree

 Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive for long periods of times

 Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
 Hearing and speaking required regularly
 Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and
ability to adjust focus
