Job Description

Wonderschool is a two-sided childcare marketplace whose mission is to ensure every child has access to child care that helps them realize their potential. We are doing this by building a suite of tools to support passionate early care and education professionals to start and run quality and sustainable child care programs, as well as building tools that make it easy for families to easily find programs that are the perfect fit for the needs of their children. Our tools allow providers to easily manage their students, parents, and school all from one dashboard. Our community allows providers to seek advice, support, and a sense of belonging with a group of like-minded peers.

Wonderschool is looking for an Regional Customer Success Manager to support our customers and partners as they transition from prospects to active users of our products. This role will be focused on customer loyalty and building close long-term client relationships, specifically in the Enterprise side of our offerings.

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive customer renewals of the Wonderschool platform so it becomes an irreplaceable part of the child care ecosystem for our state and network partners. 
  • Iterate our current rollout strategy, oversee the onboarding and training process, monitor the adoption and usage of the product, and share best practices with customers as a trusted advisor.
  • Create a scalable framework for onboarding, supporting, growing, and renewing our partners across the country.
  • Partner with local partners (CCR&R’s and funders) and with local programs, centers and family child care.
  • Develop new content to educate and support customers as the product and landscape evolves.
  • Work closely with our product and marketing teams to incorporate customer feedback into our product roadmap and to achieve our activation and engagement goals.
  • Work closely with our sales and support teams to ensure state and network partners move seamlessly from prospect to customer. 

Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of experience in customer success, sales or client-facing roles within a rapidly growing software company. 
  • Experience with the New Mexico market, in particular building relationships with 
  • Customer success expert: you have experience in a customer-facing role with the following responsibilities:
  • Startup experience: you are comfortable building processes from scratch, engaging in rapid iteration, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Relationship builder: you bring empathy and patience to interactions with customers who may not be accustomed to implementing technology tools.
  • Values-driven: you enjoy working in a mission-driven environment and want to have a meaningful impact on the customers you support.
  • Service orientation, you are comfortable serving customers.
  • Business orientation, you understand profit and loss statements, you are strong with basic financial models, and you can support child care programs in thinking through how to operate the financials of their program.
