Job Description

We’re looking for a seasoned VP of User Experience Design to oversee all aspects of user experience, organize the UX team, and advocate its value to the rest of the company.

You will report to Nico, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer. You will collaborate daily with your partners in crimes: the VP of Engineering, the VP of Product, and the Customer Support Director.

Our User Experience team gathers four talented designers, each working with several squads to solve a problem and work together on their own scope and mission to delight our customers.

As the VP of User Experience Design, your role in the organization is to connect the business to the product to the user experience. Your responsibilities:

  • Define the UX vision and strategy across the company

  • Infuse the culture with a design thinking mindset—a creative approach to solving business, product, and user problems

  • Work with marketing, product management, engineering, and customer support to define and execute the end-to-end user experience at both the macro and micro-interaction level

  • Define critical KPIs, metrics, and business outcomes (using OKRs) that deliver an ROI to the organization and communicate them effectively

  • Communicate that great user experiences are great business leads to sales and profits

Qualifications

You have a strong experience in leading ux teams, coaching design people, drawing an actionable path to expand their individual impact, defining appropriate goals, hiring and onboarding new talents, and animating the user experience team.

You enjoy contributing to a compelling product vision, articulating a transversal user experience strategy across several products with ux designers. You know how to present and explain this user experience vision and strategy to different audiences (teams, customers, analysts, partners), and collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to foster a strong alignment.

You’re convinced that excellent execution is the foundation of everything. You enjoy crafting the right contextual goals and carefully picking the relevant metrics to drive progress toward our vision. You love collaborating with engineering and product leaders. Together you build the foundations necessary to foster cross-team collaboration, and to drive consistent and timely value creation.

You cherish our product culture, you’re passionate about it, you embody it, explaining and demonstrating how each team contributes to our mission: enabling our customers to unlock their business growth through product experiences.
