Illumio’s Business Application team is responsible for the general maintenance, workflow architecture, development, and security controls pertaining to core business applications (Salesforce + managed packages, NetSuite, Concur, Coupa, Boomi, and Domo).  The Business Applications team consists of resources with a strong understanding of business needs with the ability to code/customize applications to streamline business process.  The majority of time for these resources should be spent interfacing with the business users and focused on development towards project deliverables. The Business Applications team currently consists of three team members with a roadmap of 45 projects over the next four quarters and an additional 60+ requests that span into the responsibilities of application administrators. 

  • Play a key role in supporting the core enterprise applications at Illumio including Salesforce.com (SFDC), NetSuite, Coupa, and Concur.

  • Oversee the ticket, administration, defect management, upgrades, and user/role based security across the application landscape.

  • Initial support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and user/role based security for all major business applications and integrations. 

  • Oversee application backups, patches, planning for major releases and participate in coordination of code deployments. 

  • Coordinate with various business teams and IT partners in developing or improving systems, processes, and procedures. 

  • Take on basic PM responsibilities to assist with the IT project hygiene.

  • Enable the existing team members to focus on the project roadmap.

  • Assist in the design of the right sales technology stack based on organizational strategy, structure, and processes

  • Serve as the lead associate in the management of Salesforce.com and other sales tools for daily business management

  • Own and drive Salesforce.com enhancements designed to reduce sales rep friction, improve effectiveness, or both

  • Lead service delivery of sales operations team, supporting sales, lead generation, CSM, channel and technical sales functions

  • Handle day-to-day administration of SFDC including end-user support, record transfers, error troubleshooting, etc.

  • Proactively identify obstacles or process inefficiencies and manage projects to streamline or automate sales processes

  • Effectively collaborate with other business partners and departments such as Finance, Marketing, Product Management, and offshore Developers

  • Continually evaluate performance of current tools and potential new tools

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Four years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in Sales / Business Operations

  • Proven ability to administer cloud based sales tools

  • Salesforce.com certification

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects

  • Self-starter with a track record of creativity and innovation

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with great business sense

  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pick up new skill sets quickly

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present content to general audiences
