Job Description

At Reltio, we’re on a mission to enable digital transformation by delivering a single source of truth for enterprise data designed for the digital experience economy. We are disrupting the master data management (MDM) software market when we launched the first cloud-native MDM software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. The Reltio Connected Data Platform leverages a cloud-native multi-tenant architecture and our ecosystem to enable speed, agility and flexibility at scale. Companies across industries rely on Reltio to deliver mission-critical, secure, trusted real-time data at scale to create connected omnichannel experiences for their customers, partners and employees.

Reltio is growing and we are looking for a Director of User Experience to lead our team of designers focused on creating experiences to solve complex data management and customer experience challenges through design thinking and user empathy. We are looking for a  passionate design leader to drive user research, prototyping, or experience design activities for our portfolio of products and drive the vision and strategy for Reltio’s user experience. As a designer, visionary and systems-level design thinker, you will provide leadership to the team of designers. You will work with a cross-functional team understand market demands, competitors and other influencing factors and work with Product Managers to define UX roadmap, plan releases and deliver product capabilities following best-practices and will support the customer adoption and drive business outcomes. 

You will regularly report to the leadership team to review product strategy, UX strategy and roadmap, customer adoption, user feedback and other key business metrics. You should bring an enthusiastic, team-player attitude, foster cooperation with other departments, and possess excellent leadership and mentorship abilities. You should be able to identify opportunities for UX and process improvements and drive results. 

Responsibilities

  • UX strategy – create a comprehensive UX vision & strategy aligned with the business and product strategy of Reltio. Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to define differentiated and high-impact offerings targeting enterprise business and IT functions in the areas of Modern Data Management and Applications, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, Workflow, UX, and Integrations services.
  • Reltio Design System - Define and manage a scalable design system and a UI component framework to deliver consistent designs and experiences for Reltio customers and increase the development velocity for Reltio’s engineering teams and our partners.
  • Product Experiences and UI Designs  - Deliver validated persona-specific experience and UI designs for Reltio’s products and enhancements to support product development, delivery and customer adoption. 
  • Product Adoption and Feedback - Capture and track user feedback regarding product usability and experiences.  Drive product adoption working with the product management and other customer-facing teams. 
  • Leadership – Develop, facilitate and drive cross-functional UX initiatives in alignment with key partner organizations, including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Services, Support, and Partners.
  • Evangelism – be a thought leader, a Reltio subject-matter expert and communicate key aspects and benefits of our user experience, vision and strategy to prospects, customers, partners, industry analysts, and internal audiences.

Required Skills

  • A proven track record of designing experiences for highly successful enterprise-scale web and mobile applications with a world class user experience
  • 10+ years of total experience with 7+ years in User Experience Design and UX Research  for Enterprise Software-as-a-Service products.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related fields.
  • Good communication skills with ability to present complex topics for audiences of varying technical / business acumen
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, Lean principles, Rapid Prototyping and Design Thinking is a plus
  • Functional knowledge of Sketch, Figma, Invision and other design tools.
  • Experience building and managing a high-performance UX team
  • Prior experience in Master Data Management, Big Data technologies, Analytics, and Customer Experience is desirable
