You will be joining Inga as the second member of our Operations team in a role which offers the opportunity to get to know every aspect of Seldon and ultimately help drive our operational and organisational success. 

What you will be doing

  • You will be essential in contributing towards the operational success of Seldon, working closely with our Ops Director to enable the smooth running of daily operations such as;
    • Supporting vendor and supplier relationships 
    • Monitoring inventory and placing supply orders
    • Proactively maintaining company systems and databases 
    • Assisting with accounting and payroll when needed 
    • Co-ordinating the onboarding of new employees 
  • You will advocate for compliance of company policies and standards, and proactively work to ensure these are maintained and updated as we scale
  • You will partner with multiple stakeholders across our Sales, Marketing, People and Technology teams to support strategic projects and general administrative tasks 
  • You will proactively look at ways to continuously improve and automate our systems and processes to optimise our operational and organisational efficiency 

What you will bring to the team

  • Experience working in a business operations, administration or project management role, with a track record for end-to-end support and project delivery and execution 
  • Strong attention to detail and a solutions orientated approach 
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst prioritising effectively and maintaining excellent critical judgement 
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and proven ability to take initiative and drive change
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and a willingness to learn quickly and pick up new skills and systems 

Advantageous but not necessary:

  • Experience working in a start-up or scaleup environment
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Xero 
  • Experience working with Confluence, Slack, Asana and G-suite
