Job Description

Job Overview

This role will be key to Yellowbrick's growth by focusing on building pipeline and closing deals within the Commercial Segment.  The right candidate is someone with a track record of success, who is looking to expand their sales career within an exciting, fast-paced tech company. The perfect candidate will have a strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to be coached. They must also be a self-starter who is proactive in driving revenue, increasing the client base, and successfully demonstrating Yellowbrick Data solutions.

As a Mid-Market Account Executive, they will be responsible for seeking out new customers and messaging Yellowbrick Data. They will have experience prospecting, running discovery calls/demos, negotiating, and a track record of closing new business. This person should also understand use cases and how to sell across multiple departments and industries.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead relationships with clients, while achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas for an assigned territory
  • Develop and run a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list, and a regional sales plan
  • Partner with the marketing team to initiate marketing plans in order to drive growth
  • Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams
  • Arrange and conduct initial product demonstrations and presentations
  • Lead ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue streams
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to your customers by understanding their business and advising on how Yellowbrick can help enable their existing and future IT roadmap
  • Manage the full sales-cycle, including contract generation and other deliverables for closing
  • Be relentless about Salesforce.com hygiene and forecasting

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in full-cycle sales. Must have prior experience closing deals
  • Four-year college degree
  • Strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills
  • The ability to make formal and informal presentations to staff and clients
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals
  • Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Must be a creative solutions thinker who can drive sales success
  • Must be detail-oriented and flexible
