We are looking for a Lead Expansion Manager to help us expand our global operations. You’ll work closely with the global expansion team, but also frequently interact with other global functions such as Marketing and Real Estate, as well as local teams in different markets. You will lead a team of Expansion Managers & Associates and own the entire process from strategically assessing our distribution areas to launching countries, cities and locations. You will be at the forefront of a key function in the most dynamic growth market there is today and have a direct influence upon the strategic growth of Zapp. We are looking for a driven individual that thrives in dynamic and hyper growth environments.   • Drive the launch of new countries, cities and locations
  • Own the end-to-end process from identifying a suitable launch country to giving the key of operating sites to the local teams
  • Lead a team of expansion associates and managers
  • Build data backend strategies for expansion
  • Be the direct face between all partners within a country and our company during the expansion and launch process
  • Recruit and build local country teams and hand over a fully functioning team
  • Closely work with the central expansion team and frequently interact with all central operations functions



  • At least 5 years of experience in a high pressure and high speed environment
  • Previous experience leading small impactful teams
  • Proven experience of strategic insight
  • Fluent French & English, additional languages are a plus
  • Previous experience in setting up new countries for operation heavy business models is a plus
  • A very strong do-er & solution mentality
  • A lot of energy and an attitude to drive things independently
  • Open to frequent travel
