Position Summary:

 

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Junior Manager, Facilities Procurement and Analytics in our Norwalk, CT headquarters. You will be a key member of our analytics team, reporting to the Managing Director, Facilities Practice focused on supporting our facilities category.

 

Responsibilities:                                                                                                 

You will be responsible for managing multiple clients’ historic and current purchasing data in order to forecast and report spend and savings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Design and implement systems to collect, organize, maintain, analyze, and optimize data from multiple sources
  • Collaborating with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify and secure relevant data for analysis
  • Interpreting and classifying complex data sets of purchasing and facilities work order data in order to understand clients’ historic and current services, specifications, and costs
  • Identifying, collecting, interpreting and presenting complex data in a variety of formats and from a variety of sources
  • Analyzing data, evaluating costs, and providing analysis throughout the solutions and transition phases of client engagements
  • Analyzing vendor pricing and RFx results and preparing analysis to support sourcing and procurement decisions
  • Measuring savings and identifying economies by comparing RFx pricing with client baseline data
  • Identifying trends and preparing reports for use with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Utilizing savings models and building scenarios in support of solution development
  • Refining data management systems and reporting processes to deliver accurate and quality insights for ongoing decision-making

       

Required Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Previous knowledge of and working experience in the facilities and/or asset management industries required
  • Ability to mine, analyze, visualize, and model organizational data to generate recommendations
  • Must possess an intellectual curiosity that drives you to understand the why/how behind the data so that you effectively apply analytics to the situation
  • Experience managing and analyzing large quantities of data 
  • Advanced knowledge of data cleansing and formatting methods and techniques
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and databases
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new software
  • Strong problem solving skills and business acumen applying analytics to solve business problems
  • Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing accordingly to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse cross-functional team
  • Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
