A newly created role in a Syncron Accounting Team, part of the Global Finance Center of Excellence based in Warsaw. Expert position to strengthen & support Country Accountants team and takeover monthly close process coordination, Group financial results consolidation and analysis. Role combining accounting, financial reporting and finance controlling responsibilities.

The position reports to Group Chief Accountant and cooperates closely with a strong team of Country Accountants, Controlling Team and Finance Manager. A unique opportunity to join a fast-growing SaaS company and experience the Scandinavian organizational culture.

Syncron works with Workday Financial Management and Workday Projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Managing the group monthly close process including close cooperation with Country Accountants.
  • Ownership of the financial results consolidation process.
  • Full Group P&L and Balance Sheet review on a monthly basis, including variance analysis.
  • Identification of errors and process inefficiencies, proposing and implementing improvements.
  • Ownership of the group IFRS adjustments schedule.
  • Preparing Consolidated Annual Report (in English) in accordance with IFRS.
  • Ensuring group accounting policies are followed in accordance with company policies and IFRS.
  • Working with multiple teams and various business functions across the Group including Sales Operations, Customer Success, Legal
  • Coordination of the group annual financial audit.
  • Leading special projects as needed as it relates to group accounting and reporting.
  • Participating in Workday Financials system enhancement/ automation projects.
  • Supporting, coaching and developing junior team members.

Requirements

  • University degree. Preferably in Accounting/Finance related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in finance, preferably within a service delivery company (consultancy firm), previous experience with SaaS company will be a plus.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Big 4 background will be a strong plus.
  • ACCA or equivalent will be a plus.
  • Previous exposure to IFRS.
  • Good understanding of consolidation, including f/x translation.
  • Strong analytical skills & reviewing skills.
  • Team player with previous experience in knowledge sharing, developing others and supervising juniors.
  • Communicates effectively in a professional environment.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, highly detailed, organized and able to handle deadlines.
