In this role you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of the SEO strategy for the Luxury division of THG which includes multiple sites (Coggles.com , Thehut.com , Allsole.com , Mybag.com).

The Role

This individual is responsible for SEO link building and outreach. Their goal is to build SEO-friendly backlinks and find profitable and scalable means of doing so across our key markets for the Luxury division of THG which includes multiple sites (Coggles.com , Thehut.com , Allsole.com , Mybag.com).

Responsibilities Include:

    Primary focus is to drive strategy for acquiring backlinks that positively impact organic rankings.
    Planning strategy with PR, Content, Social and the SEO teams for content campaigns or NPD outreach.
    Creating press releases and email outreach templates.
    Coordinating the internal SEO team and international trading teams to execute on the above strategy.
    Maintaining trackers and planning documents to hold involved parties to account.
    Management of any external suppliers to assist in campaigns (designers, paid publishing platforms, agencies).
    Working with the content team to commission and assist in the creation of content for each campaign.
    Qualifying sites and publications for quality link potential. Selecting appropriate targets for each campaign.
    Reaching out to blogs, publishers and other online personalities via email, twitter, blog comments, Facebook and on the phone.
    Running regular training sessions on off-page SEO principles, strategies and case studies for Myp trading teams and SEO teams in THG.
    Regular reporting on campaign progress and results.

Requirements

    Strong technical SEO + Outreach knowledge (1-2 years experience preferred)
    Analytically minded, experience using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
    Ability to analyse data to derive insight and actions to drive performance
    Experience auditing on-site and off-site SEO factors to create effective SEO strategies
    Experience using SEO tools including or equivalent to ahrefs, Deepcrawl, SEMRush, Screaming Frog
    Experience managing a team, their workflow and assisting in their own professional development
    Knowledge of HTML/Web Coding
    Self-motivated and enthusiastic
    Strong communication skills
    Good skills in Excel & Word
    Interest in the Fashion/Luxury goods Industry (bonus)
    Experience integrating SEO with other digital channels i.e. Social and PR (bonus)
