About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Conduct daily, weekly cycle counts for inventory accuracy

  • Keeps track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and efficiency

  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

  • Conforms and enforces safety protocols and policies in conjunction with state and federal regulations.

  • Overseeing the entire movement and flow of inventory throughout the warehouse, including receiving and staging, put-away, replenishment, cycle-counting and physical inventory, all returned inventory, pick exceptions and variance adjustments

  • Performing inventory movement activities and is the designated super-user and local expert on Warehouse Management System (WMS) inventory functionality

  • Managing SKU reserve and forward-pick location assignments, including working with respective departments to determine SKU slotting requirements based on anticipated and forecasted demand needs

  • Ensuring proper physical controls regarding inventory are in place and monitored

  • Identifying and recommending process changes and/or system enhancements to improve inventory related issues

  • Operating material handling equipment with appropriate training or certification

  • Provide inventory reporting metrics to management as needed

  • Working with the Accounting team  in ensuring inventory accuracy and alignment across the physical, logical and book inventory levels

  • Managing the recruitment and training of new receiving/inventory warehouse associates

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in inventory management and overall Operations familiarity

  • Fluent in NetSuite (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP))

  • Ability to multitask and set appropriate priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite

  • Make informed recommendations on material stocking locations based on anticipated demand and movement needs (efficient workflows)
