As an integral part of the Technical marketing team, you will help develop and be able to clearly articulate the Zerto value proposition and technical differentiation regarding Zerto’s Platform and the problems it uniquely solves to a wide audience including internal stakeholders such as sales, and external groups including clients, prospects, industry analysts, and media. The message is presented in collateral such as datasheets, white papers, presentations, email templates, blog posts, sales training materials and marketing materials.

This role does requires technical expertise with an ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits customers care about and attention to detail is critical. You will work with technical experts in the market and help transfer that knowledge to the sales and marketing channels. You will also support efforts around competitive, assist with the technical aspect of new product launches and supporting joint technology alliances go-to-market efforts. You will work closely with product management to develop and communicate our product strategy while ensuring our sales teams are equipped with everything they need to succeed. 

 Responsibilities

  • Understand the Zerto Platform and competitor solutions to develop technical marketing content
  • Develop sales and marketing collateral, white papers, best practices, web content, case studies, articles, and other materials
  • Develop competitive content and deliver this content to the sales organization
  • Represent Zerto and clearly communicate and articulate Zerto’s value proposition and differentiation to external audiences, including delivering presentations and webinars, writing blog posts and exhibiting at trade shows
  • Support ZertoCON Annual User conference Agenda and collaborate across teams for successful execution
  • Support other Zerto staff as needed as it relates to technical marketing with contributed ideas and brainstorming, reviewing and proofreading materials, and other ad-hoc projects
  • Create and record product demonstrations for external facing video content and internal training
  • Support a global, rapidly expanding, marketing and sales organization through the creation of compelling and differentiated content

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience combination of technical marketing and technical engineer in the virtualization industry
  • Published whitepapers, best practices, blog posts, competitive comparisons and product datasheets
  • Thorough understanding of VMware virtualization platform and VMware solutions
  • Hands on experience of installing, deploying and configuring a VMware virtual infrastructure
  • Hands on experience with Azure, AWS and IBM
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V beneficial
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to optimally structure and prioritize work 
  • Good working knowledge of storage technologies, TCP/IP, Microsoft SQL, Exchange, Oracle, SharePoint
  • Ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling creative concepts, create high impact written content which conveys complex subject matter clearly and accurately
  • Performed research and develop solid conclusions and sound recommendations
  • Passion for excellence and attention to detail, determination to continuously improve results and contribution, strong desire to win on behalf of the team
  • Willing to travel up to 25% to meet customers, prospects and partners. 
  • MBA preferred
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V beneficial
