Role

 

BrowserStack’s vision is to become the test infrastructure of the internet. As Community Manager, you will be a key part of the Developer Relations team, and be the face of the BrowserStack across developer communities. As a community manager, you will spearhead conversations at scale and help developers realise the value of testing on the cloud with BrowserStack. BrowserStack is being used by millions of developers and you will be interacting with aspirants, open-source contributors, power users and champions.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Build an outreach strategy to attract developers into the BrowserStack community.
  • Research/understand the target audience to build a community roadmap for 12 months.
  • Genuinely care for the community by proactively addressing their needs, responding to messages/posts and making time for important conversations with the individual members.
  • Engage with the audience and help the community to thrive by enabling 1 on 1 communication between the members.
  • Execute marketing campaigns in various channels to promote community programs to the existing user base as well as the external audience.
  • Forge relationships with the influencers, developer communities and open source organizations.
  • Strategize, plan and execute community events for a global audience.

 

Experience:

 

  • 3+ years of experience as a Community or Marketing manager in B2B or SaaS-based companies.
  • Experience in moderating and managing discussions in forums, social media or online channels.
  • Comfortable with Salesforce, Marketo, MailChimp and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with a knack for getting things done without any authority.
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication/presentation skills.
  • Good to have: Previous experience with a developer community in any capacity.
