Tealium is seeking world-class pre-sales solutions consulting leadership to join our global sales organization. This position is responsible for the hiring, development and allocation of all pre-sales solution consulting resources​ within EMEA, driving strategic growth, interacting with senior technologists and business leaders, and leading technical initiatives. ​SCs utilize technology and digital marketing expertise to support Tealium's sales efforts by positioning our cloud based, SaaS solutions against those of our competitors while translating the technical merits of the solution into value for clients.


    • Directly manage a team by identifying, communicating, and discussing team goals and objectives
    • Provide product/service advice and technical guidance to sales representatives, partners, and prospects
    • Manage, motivate, hire, develop and engage the Tealium solutions consulting team
    • Contribute field knowledge and feedback to direct future product requirements/enhancements
    • Enhance pre-sales demonstration environments and materials
    • Engage with sales and colleagues in ongoing knowledge sharing and subject matter growth
    • Drive strategic growth and demonstrate thought leadership throughout the team
    • Facilitate the free flow of ideas within the team
    • Mentor team members to encourage development
    • Serve as a senior technical resource for customer related issues, assisting with advanced customer applications
    • Document team processes, work results
    • Assist in assessment of potential product features, providing input on prioritization
    • Assist in tracking of product deliverables and communicating issues to regional teams
    • Review quotes, RFIs, and Security Assessments


    • BA/BS degree or equivalent related work experience
    • 5+ years’ experience managing direct reports within a solutions consulting or implementation engineering environment.
    • Candidates should have experience with one or more solutions within: Web Analytics , Search Engine Marketing, Display Marketing, Email Service Providers, Data Management Platforms, Demand or Supply Side Platforms, Digital Exchanges, Content Management Systems, Mobile Analytics, Ad Serving, Content Optimization (Multi-Variant) Testing
    • Presentation skills and experience that demonstrate technical proficiency, digital marketing knowledge, business, and communication skills
    • Ability to assess customer requirements, identify business problems, and demonstrate proposed solutions
    • Understanding of Sales Process, Cycles and methodologies.
    • Management/Decision Making/Problem Solving Skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to encourage teamwork and involvement of less experienced individuals (providing them with necessary exposure)
    • Understanding of competitive sales environment
    • Time management skills
    • Professionalism in attitude, conduct, and appearance
    • Ideal skillset will include the following: Digital Marketing Vendor Installation, Management and Troubleshooting, Understanding of JavaScript &Tags; - event handling / JSON, Web Technologies - AJAX, jQuery, HTML, Mobile and Mobile/platform apps - iOS, Android, Blackberry and emerging web technologies, Web Development Tools, REST, SOAP and other APIs formats, Structured and Unstructured Data concepts
