Curology is creating the next generation of skincare through customized treatment plans and formulas with powerful prescription ingredients for acne and anti-aging. We believe great skin shouldn’t be a luxury, but a fact of life.
 
Most brand management roles at traditional brands are slow and stagnant. You inherit a great history, but end up focused on protecting past success rather than blazing paths for future growth. And most startup brand management roles, well, they don’t exist. The C-suite runs the business, and brand management becomes brand marketing, without a P&L ownership or a strong connection to business results. 
 
At Curology, we’re changing that. We are looking to build our brand management team with a Senior Brand Manager for our Male Audience. Male skincare is the fastest growing segment in the $7B male personal care category, and represents Curology’s biggest growth opportunity. Your job will be to work closely with the General Manager to grow this business while enhancing our brand and its perception among male users. You will understand these consumers, uncover key insights that will allow us to position our offering to them through product, packaging, route-to-market, medical service, marketing communications, and any and all the other tools that you’ll have at your disposal. 

What will you do?

    • Support the growth of the male subscriber base, achieving business targets for revenue, brand contribution and brand specific P&L targets
    • Collaborate with GM on the development of the 1 and 3 year Curology male audience strategy, leveraging key consumer insights and ensuring it aligns to broader business & brand goals
    • Get hands on to execute, partnering with internal stakeholders to bring the male audience plan to life across the entire consumer funnel
    • Lead collaboration between marketing, creative, and other teams to concept, plan, and implement male-specific marketing campaigns 
    • Partner with the user acquisition team to ensure targets are hit
    • Own the development and execution of brand partnerships that increase awareness and elevate the Curology brand with the  male audienceScope & execute a plan to improve male retention
    • Partner with the Lifecycle team on a male-specific CRM strategy

About You

    • Proven track record of executing groundbreaking marketing programs / campaigns; strong performance marketing expertise a must (experience with retention-driving marketing initiatives an additional nice to have)
    • Able to jump between strategy and hands-on execution seamlessly.
    • Strong grasp of data, data analysis, and financial metrics
    • Scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit with an aptitude for overcoming obstacles with limited resourcesStrong communication skills across teams & levels; ability to build relationships quickly
    • Empathy and drive to learn about and deeply understand the male consumer
    • Entrepreneurial spirit - stays up to date on competition and trends, and brings new ideas to the table constantly
    • 5+ years experience in marketing; experience at a modern D2C brand, ideally subscription, and bonus points if you have experience targeting male consumers
