Your Role:

The Tenable Seller Enablement Team is all about improving the experience between the buyer and everyone who represents Tenable – helping sellers to be the best they can be. From Demand Reps, to Territory Managers, to Channel partners and more, we are the engine that ensures they have the content, training, and coaching they need to succeed.

As a Seller Experience Specialist, your job is to ensure the adoption of enablement tools and programs. You will ensure sales campaigns are successfully rolled out and executed and drive adoption over time. You will report and act upon key metrics that improve sales performance across the various teams and you will advocate the unique needs to the rest of the Seller Enablement Team.

Your Opportunity:

  • Drive and support adoption of enablement tools, processes, and technologies
  • Personally deliver one-to-many or train the trainer
  • Manage local enablement schedules
  • Interlock with sales and channels leadership to ensure they have the enablement needed to succeed and ensure they are informed of enablement efforts in advance
  • Identify, report, and track metrics in Salesforce, Tableau, and other tools and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Know and understand each sales, sales engineering, and channels job role – their processes, metrics, and enablement needs
  • Support the roll-out and execution of various marketing and sales campaigns by ensuring each seller role involved has the enablement they need to succeed relative to marketing campaign pre-launch
  • Coordinate weekly webinars and other key communications platforms, internal and partner
  • Ensure adequate follow up that increases knowledge retention
  • Own the new-hire and ongoing training experience


What You'll Need:

  • At least 5 - 10 years in a similar role previously
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills – able to present up to executive level
  • Sales background – must understand sales process and nomenclature
  • Strong self-starter – must be able to operate with minimal day to day direction
  • Team player – able to rally support as well as be relied upon for execution: humble, hungry, interpersonally smart
  • Organized – able to handle multiple projects at once
  • Flexible – willing to try new things, look at things from different perspectives, but still able to gently hold the line when necessary and “fail fast”
  • Travel – may need to travel at least 25% of the year

And Ideally:

  • Cyber Security Background – Ability to acquire product and industry knowledge quickly will help with success in this role
  • Sales, Sales Enablement or Training background – You will find it necessary to create content and teach some topics yourself
  • Engaging Disposition – the most successful candidate will be fun to work with and able to inspire others
  • Coaching background – any experience in coaching, mentoring, or leading teams as an influencer is a plus
