Job Description

About the Role:

You’re an experienced sales professional looking to develop your career in people management, using your existing leadership skills. This is your first team leader role where you will be working closely with your team to hit targets each month and contribute to the growth of ClassPass. You thrive as a player-coach and set the bar for the team by demonstrating your stellar cold calling, pitching and negotiating skills. You will set ambitious goals and provide the necessary mentorship, feedback, and support to set the team up for success. Above all, you will be responsible to foster strong team camaraderie, motivate, coach and develop your direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for hiring, onboarding and developing the APAC Corporate Sales Team 
  • Successfully develop and lead corporate sales in the APAC region to hit monthly targets in specific territories
  • Analyse data on team’s past performance to improve and project future sales goals within the corporate landscape 
  • Manage your own sales pipeline of enterprise-level accounts, and drive through the full sales cycle by making/sending introductory calls and emails, assessing and building the relationship, performing sales presentations and closing the deal.
  • Communicate successes and roadblocks to the Head of Corporate to ensure the team is on track to hit monthly goals
  • Collaborate closely with the Corporate Account Management team to successfully onboard future corporate clients 
  • Helping to drive corporate projects which impact the further international corporate team 
  • Develop creative, fun, and innovative ways to connect and build out your relationships with potential clients and share best practices across the team
  • Cross-collaboration with other department Team Managers across the globe to ensure optimal efficiency, full transparency and on-going stakeholder management

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of relentlessly high standards and top performance
  • Experience in selling to HR professionals and/or knowledge of the employee benefit industry 
  • Experience in mentoring with a passion to move into people management
  • A great team player and always looking for ways to collaborate
  • A great communicator with the ability to motivate others to achieve results 
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and attend to detail
  • A team player and comfortable with an ever-changing startup environment
  • Resilience to overcome objections and obstacles with an openness to feedback and dedication to self improvement
  • Good amount of technical experience in CRM systems (SalesForce)
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Keynote, etc.
  • Right to work in Singapore
