About Companion

Companion is on a mission to talk to dogs. We make the world’s first autonomous dog trainer and software platform and couple it with one-on-one coaching and best in class content that makes it easy and affordable for everyone to train and engage their dog at home.


We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager that will be responsible for the product experience and performance throughout Companion's product suite, including mobile, hardware, and web app.


  • Own and drive the product roadmap using user insights, business goals, and team input for all parts of the consumer product: mobile app, device UI, web app, marketing website.
  • Work closely with our engineering, animal behavior and marketing teams to bring Companion’s product vision to life and delight customers and ensure the product meets the specifications
  • Manage user trials, insights and testing through analytics, user interviews and other data collection methods to drive decisions
  • Track record of identifying big opportunities and working with design, engineering and marketing to launch differentiated products



  • You can analyze, quantify, and articulate trade-offs of what you are building
  • Experience influencing product direction and others around you. You handle chaos, ambiguity and complexity in a detailed, organized way
  • Expert product instincts and an ability to balance user and business impact
  • You have 5+ years of product management experience
  • You have shipped a consumer hardware and software product; you have a track record of working with design, engineering and marketing to launch products end-to-end
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and still hit core responsibilities and key deadlines
  • Ability to quickly build consensus
  • Clear, concise, and thorough written and oral communication skills
  • Experience analyzing and using data to inform decisions

  • Ability to write or manage product copy
