Job Description

As the Senior Director, Operational Excellence, you will play an active role in leading continuous enterprise process improvement initiatives. We are looking for someone with strong experience managing major strategic projects and initiatives in support of Clinical Operations.  This role is responsible synthesizing data and then creating actionable initiatives that drive the quality and performance excellence The Senior Director will need to quickly identify and capture opportunities to drive enterprise strategic priorities.  This position will communicate and interface with cross-functional team at the Regional, Divisional, and Corporate level.


  • Analyze, interpret, develop key insights, and present core data to all levels of leadership teams and frontline staff
  • Drive on-going prioritization initiatives to align across a set of integrated initiatives between clinical and operations
  • Partner with operational leadership team to develop and execute strategic business plans, operational goals, and performance metrics to drive growth and productivity
  • Drive continuous operating improvements and quality performance of operating metrics such as quality, productivity, staffing, and training
  • Manage and track customer service level and customer satisfaction goals alongside VP of Account Management
  • Lead innovation initiatives to define future processes
  • Maximize teammate engagement, development, and performance through goal setting and performance management practices
  • Develop, manage, and communicate key performance metrics to leadership teams; problem-solve barriers to timely and effective placement to further optimize the admissions process
  • Develop financial models to support various risk adjustment or performance initiative



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • Strategic planning experience required.
  • Can effectively cope with change, can shift gears comfortably, can decide and act without having a total picture, isn’t upset when things are up in the air, can comfortably hand risk and uncertainty
  • Leadership for a healthcare or multi-site operational business
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytic skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to deliver executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to lead project teams and act as team player.
  • Proven track record of project management skills, successful execution of key organizational initiatives.
  • Demonstrated creativity in identifying and implementing solutions to complex, ambiguous issues.
  • Expert in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
  • You have the ability to partner in the development, management and operationalizing processes and workflows to maximize efficiencies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in leadership, collaboration, and performance/process improvement.


  • Master’s degree in Business or related field
