We are looking for an experienced content marketer to head our content marketing organization. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller who has a strong foundation in analytics and organic marketing - a marketing expert who can use multiple channels and tell stories to engage our customers and prospects. This individual will be responsible for building a comprehensive content strategy, managing all content creation and responsible for driving the overall growth of our organic marketing program.
 
The ideal candidate has significant experience building and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy with a track record of driving measurable impact across all channels.  You should have at least 15+ years of experience developing content and SEO programs, including managing and scaling highly successful teams.

    • Develop a combined SEO and content strategy both for the short and long term success, tied to key business objectives
    • Based on research and channel performance data, produce a steady stream of high-quality content that maps to a strategy to drive traffic, acquisition, and deeper engagement with our existing
    • Scale our content marketing team, leading recruiting efforts to grow our capacity including our agencies and freelancers with specific domain expertise
    • Work with performance marketing teams to ensure content development aligns with funnel-building objectives, uniquely tailored to each audience
    • Partner closely with key cross-functional stakeholders to understand content requirements, scale channels, and prioritize development initiatives
    • Develop a strategy to optimize our .com experience for key audiences and develop the matrix and process to manage updates 
    • Measure the impact of our content and SEO programs, closely monitoring key metrics, and proactively refining priorities and resource allocation accordingly

    • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, allowing you to successfully influence and communicate complex information clearly and concisely
    • Strong ability to develop a content strategy and compelling stories that are customized to each of our audiences, including our end-users customers, and partners
    • Hyper-focused on delivering results and are comfortable leveraging analytics and performance metrics and provide guidance to the team to make decisions
    • Comfortable with and have a strong handle on growth experiments, testing, and analysis
    • Understand the concepts of standard funnel metrics, user segmentation, customer journeys, and lifetime value to make efficient decisions
    • Familiarity with how to manage complex projects, multiple stakeholders and competing priorities to effectively manage your team’s work and maximize impact
    • Team player with a positive can - do attitude
