Job Description

BrandOn Group is looking for a Category Manager to join its Commercial Area. 

Reporting to the Category Leader, he/she will be in charge of selecting potential customers, evaluating their potential and once acquired, managing the relationship to maximize product sales through continuous alignment with the Channel Managers of B2B, B2C and Flash Sales channels, in charge of the relationship with digital retailers. 

Will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing data, optimizing the process and coordinating with the various business areas.

Main areas of activity

  • Scouting for new customers
  • Assessing sales potential by channel, platform and country
  • Onboarding high-potential customers
  • Definition of an E-commerce Sales Plan per channel, platform and country tailored to the potential customer
  • Analysis to support merchandising activities (optimization of product list) and customer pricing
  • Analysis of the performance of customers in the portfolio for continuous improvement of offers, service level, reliability of sales forecasts and results
  • Relationship management with local and international customers and design of the ideal logistical and distribution solution based on customer requirements
  • Supporting the achievement of the company’s turnover and margin targets

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Appreciated additional requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of other European languages (French, German, Spanish)
  • Professional experience as Category Manager
  • Professional experience in Sales and/or Purchasing of Brands, Retailers and Distributors
  • Professional experience within e-commerce platforms
