About the role

The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of a number of workstreams expertly leading the project from proposal through to implementation. Reporting to the Programme Director, the Project Manager will use their expertise to manage one of our most critical projects, whilst helping to embed best practice in project management across the team.

You’ll know what it takes to deliver large-scale projects, bringing stakeholders along the journey to maximise the realisation of project goals and outcomes.

Reporting to the Programme Director, you will:

  • Manage the delivery of transformation projects from proposal to implementation

  • Identify process and technology changes and deliver across the reconciliation process

  • Oversee the reporting of progress and RAID management for the work streams within their responsibility and lead project, steering and governance committees to ensure momentum and progress of key projects 

  • Continuously improve project delivery methodologies, tools and techniques and collaborate with key contacts across Operations and Finance to ensure successful delivery and implementation of changes

  • Define project goals, success criteria, scope, and detailed plans to effectively manage one or more projects simultaneously

  • Report on, capture and track progress, milestones, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and deliverables

  • Develop effective deployment plans in collaboration with others and plan for and measure the realisation of benefits

  • Advocate for the customer, colleagues, and the company to ensure changes deliver outstanding results.

What we’re looking for from you...

  • Proven ability to manage complex transformation projects

  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and applying them to deliver change at pace

  • Strong ability to inspire others into action; adept at using tools and techniques to deliver cross-functional projects

  • Experience with identifying process improvements and shaping solutions

  • Familiar with requirements gathering and process mapping

  • High level of numeracy and literacy, with the ability to interpret data to direct change according to agreed objectives

  • Experience delivering change within financial services, payments or scaling start-up environment

  • Experience working within regulated industries, preferably FS.
