About the role

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, documenting the processes and delivering significant improvements across Payment Operations. This will include the successful design, delivery, adoption, and embedding of transformation across our PO organisation.

You will identify opportunities to significantly improve pay-out and associated processes and deliver sustainable improvements across Payment Operations. The ideal candidate will make an immediate impact, will know what it takes to identify and deliver continuous improvement across an operational team. Our department is fast-paced and ever-changing so the right candidate will be energized by the challenge that this presents.

Reporting to the Head of Transformation and Continuous Improvement, Payment Operations, you will:

  • Identity and implement process improvements to deliver optimum benefits across Payment Operations 

  • Develop a CI methodology that can be used to deliver significant CI benefits across Payment Operations

  • Support the Head of Transformation and Continuous Improvement to ensure successful and rapid delivery of improvements

  • Build strong relationships across WorldRemit in order to identify changes that will impact PO

  • Document all processes across PO to help understand the opportunities for improvement

  • Support the implementation, delivery and development of a governance structure to ensure controlled change

  • Conduct robust change impact assessments to identify effective change and readiness plans as well as post implementation reviews post delivery

  • Define robust readiness and deployment plans, leading readiness activities to maximise the success of improvements

What we’re looking for from you...

  • Ability to deliver complex continuous improvement activity in an operational environment

  • Track record of designing and delivering Continuous Improvement approaches 

  • Proven experience of process mapping, root cause analysis, action planning and delivery

  • Experience conducting impact assessments, creating change and readiness plans, communications and engagement, adoption, and benefits realisation

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Experience of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies

  • Experience with identifying process improvements and shaping solutions

  • High level of numeracy and literacy, with the ability to interpret data to direct change according to agreed objectives
