Job Description

Minted is seeking a Producer to join our Producer team. This role will focus on bringing to life Minted across a variety of customer-facing and trade-facing marketing materials, and overseeing the creative development process from inception to completion. 
 
Typical deliverables include, but are not limited to: online/email creative, in-store communications, direct mail, print advertising, video development, and trade show content. This role requires an understanding of each business’ priorities, and ensuring that the work is aligned and completed with these in mind.
 
This individual supports the Fine Art and Weddings business and collaborates with Creative Directors, Designers, Visual Merchandisers and the Photo Studio, in addition to cross-functional business partners, to come up with marketing communications that balance brand leadership and marketing effectiveness.

The producer serves as the glue that holds the creative process and output together.  He/she helps bring the Minted brand to life across a variety of customer-facing marketing materials, and oversees the creative development process from inception to completion.  This individual can help unblock obstacles, drive process forward, and complete deliverables with a large, cross-functional team.  
 
The producer manages the development process of all creative assets for Minted.  That can be initiating, carrying out, shepherding the process as well as improving and optimizing existing processes of work at Minted.  Typical deliverables include, but are not limited to: email creative, on-site creative, display assets, social assets, in-store communications, direct mail, print advertising, TV and video assets, and trade show booth development.
 
This individual collaborates with Creative Directors, Designers, Writers, Visual Merchandisers and the Photo Studio, in addition to cross-functional business partners, to come up with marketing communications that balance brand leadership and marketing effectiveness. The producer is also the lead communicator and documenter of feedback, taking notes on any changes or versioning of creative assets, optimizing assets across the organization, and sharing out feedback and learnings to key partners across the organization.  
 
The producer ensures that a thorough creative brief is developed for all projects with input from key stakeholders across the company to include clear project objectives, relevant messaging, and executional mandatories.  The producer ensures that all work delivers on the business objectives and creative strategy set forth in the creative brief.
 
The role is also the owner of the library of creative assets for their category.  That entails the development of a system of management, continual organization of those assets, updating where necessary, and the ability to locate any and all assets that the organization may need.

You will:

    • Understand, drive and enhance the creative process to complete projects in a timely manner, despite any setbacks.
    • Ensure a thorough creative brief is developed with input from key stakeholders across the company to include clear project objectives, relevant messaging, target audience information, executional considerations, and a development timeline.
    • Understand not only the process and timeline of projects, but the content as well.
    • Ensure the work delivers on the business objectives and creative strategy set forth in the creative brief.
    • Thoughtfully organize and prepare all creative work to ensure a productive and efficient creative review process

You have:

    • Knowledge of the creative development process across a variety of deliverables: print, digital and 3D/environmental.
    • Proven ability to proactively establish rapport, credibility, and influence, and drive results throughout an organization at all levels and across departments in a highly matrixed organization;
    • Experience managing in-house creative development, as well as knowledge on how to work with external agency partners to achieve creative outcomes that are delivered on-strategy, on-time and on-budget.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills as well as strong presentation skills.
    • BA/BS with previous account management or project management experience at a design firm, ad agency, or in-house marketing communications or creative services department.
