The Business Development Representative is a vital customer facing role within the sales team. As a BDR, you will be responsible for owning the early stages of the sales process, which includes everything from making a strong first impression to developing relationships and driving strategy. You will work directly with the senior members of the sales team who will work with you to discover new business opportunities by engaging with customers and selling them on the value of Sentropy. As an SDR, you are the driving force for the company by nurturing leads, boosting sales, and ultimately contributing to long-term business growth. 

What you'll be doing

    • Researching and mapping prospective accounts for strategic outreach
    • Cold calling and emailing prospective customers
    • Utilizing lead generation tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce
    • Partnering with Senior Account Executives to generate leads
    • Executing against monthly pipeline metrics to help achieve sales goals
    • Developing and implementing plans for generating new business in your assigned area

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Strong desire to work in Sales at an early-stage startup 
    • Relentless in pursuing goals and solving problems
    • 1-2 years of customer-facing work experience (SaaS experience is a plus) 
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and friendly professional demeanor
    • Creativity to iterate and improve process at a rapid pace
