The Director, Product Marketing is responsible for developing marketing strategies for multiple product lines in order to support the customer's journey, and for working closely with revenue leaders and product management teams to appropriately communicate the value of EVERFI products and services across a variety of markets. The Director also ensures internal teams are equipped with a strong understanding of the products.


  • Lead the product marketing activities for multiple product lines
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
  • Monitor relevant industry trends to develop market insights that inform product strategy and sales tactics
  • Translate a deep understanding of the competitive landscape into clear product line recommendations
  • Develop differentiated messaging for the features and benefits of the products and solutions based on the targeted audience
  • Work with product managers to inform roadmaps and fully understand product features and benefits
  • Develop go-to-market plans for product launches and orchestrate execution of plans including promotion, packaging, pricing with cross-functional stakeholder group
  • Work with demand generation teams to build targeted marketing campaigns and offers that result in quality sales leads
  • Develop market specific personas and corresponding value propositions that develop greater awareness and demand for EVERFI’s products and services
  • Maximize the impact of new product releases by coordinating the launch activities with key internal stakeholders
  • Articulate product positioning and messaging for target audiences, while differentiating EVERFI products from competition
  • Work with the sales and sales enablement teams to create tools and training to help them communicate EVERFI’s value proposition
  • Promote products through webinars, conference presentations and team training sessions – both the development of materials as well as presentation of them
  • Guide and mentor less experienced members of the team
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, education, business administration preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6 years of experience in marketing roles preferably focused on educational tools and software; 4 years of product marketing experience preferred
  • Experience managing product launches and other large projects
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to develop creative and customer focused content for the web, solutions collateral, and sales presentations
  • Strong messaging and storytelling skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and project management skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to adapt messaging to various audience
  • Interest in the education field, experience in education or technology organizations preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
