The Proposals Manager writes and addresses the key requirements that prospects and customers want to understand about EVERFI’s solutions capabilities. The Manager produces persuasive proposal content and assists in managing & responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The position is also responsible for building accessible, reusable and customizable content to easily complete prospects and customers requirement requests.


  • Lead the proposal creation process for the responses EVERFI develops in conjunction with RFPs and RFIs (requests for information) received
  • Develop and maintain reusable, compelling, and persuasive RFP content
  • Create compliant outlines for RFPs and RFIs
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a proposal content library that is accessible to internal teams
  • Support the revenue team with customer-facing written communications
  • Review proposals to ensure a flawless product ready for client review. This includes but is not limited to proofreading for content, grammar, style, format, editing, organizing, and compiling attachments and exhibits
  • Consistently implement EVERFI brand messaging in all proposal responses, including tone, style, and theme, to leverage and promote the EVERFI value proposition
  • Liaise with applicable internal subject matter experts to inform responses to RFPs and to maintain content organized in knowledge base, including its technical accuracy
  • Create systems to support scalable access to content for lower-value activities and create processes and workflows to support more customized, higher value activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a liberal arts discipline, marketing or business preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in proposal writing, ideally supporting sales organizations
  • Ability to author and edit technical content
  • Experience developing winning proposals and coordinating RFP responses
  • Project management skills
  • Self driven and ability to work independently
  • Strong oral communications and internal customer engagement skills
  • Experience with WordPress or other Content Management System tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Trello) preferred
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time
